It’s different looking but you can’t deny the Tacuma’s versatility and practicality. It has a tremendous amount of space in the cabin and you can remove seats to make more room for storage, despite it already having a huge boot.  There is a 1.6-litre engine, which develops 105bhp and returns 35miles to the gallon. And there is a 2.0-litre, which manages 119bhp. You will get around 32 miles to the gallon from it. The Tacuma is good on the road. It’s not exactly sporty, because it was never meant to be, but you’re guaranteed a comfortable journey. It handles well, the steering is light, and the ride quality is smooth. There’s a certain amount of body roll on the corners but this really only occurs at higher speeds.
